Poland member firm Domański Zakrzewski Palinka (DZP) has expanded its offer to include tax advisory by adding two prominent tax experts, Joanna Wierzejska and Artur Nowak, both of whom gained their experience working for international advisory firms. They have also brought their teams with them to DZP. Wierzejska specialises in full-range tax services for clients with special focus on mergers and acquisitions. She will also head the Tax Team. Nowak is an expert in tax problems, especially in tax and customs law litigation.

The international magazine, Managing Intellectual Property, has named Sweden member firm Advokatfirman Lindahl the "Sweden IP Firm of the Year 2010". The award is based on interviews with the clients and people in the industry. Lindahl and RydinCarlsten merged at the beginning of 2009, strengthening their position as Sweden's third-largest law firm with just over 300 employees and six offices in Sweden. The merger also means that Lindahl has the breadth and depth in its range of services to uniquely meet the critical requirements of modern knowledge-intensive companies. RydinCarlsten was named IP Firm of the Year in 2007.
